Bahir Dar Industrial park begins exporting textile and apparel 

Addis Ababa, November 11, 2021 (FBC) – Industrial Parks Development Corporation announced that Bahir Dar Industrial park has begun its first apparel products to foreign market.

Hop Loun, one of the companies in the park, has for the first time exported garments made by PLC Ethiopia.

In a related story, spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Dina Mufti said on Thursday that the government is undertaking several diplomatic efforts to push the US to keep Ethiopia under the African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA).

More than 70 percent Industrial parks in Ethiopia export their products to the US through AGOA.
