Azerbaijani investors express keen interest to seize investment opportunities in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, March 4, 2023 (FBC) – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs,  Demeke Mekonnen, held a discussion with investors in Azerbaijan regarding the investment opportunities in Ethiopia.

In the discussion, DPM & FM Demeke briefed the investors about the captivating investment opportunities in Ethiopia and the encouragements that the Ethiopian government is giving to foreign investors who are engaged in the country.

Azerbaijan-based business people, for their part, explained regarding their investment engagements in Azerbaijan. They expressed firm interest to invest in construction, agriculture, and other sectors in Ethiopia.

They also confirmed that they are keen to come to Ethiopia for further investment research, according to the Ethiopian Embassy in Ankara.
