Austria keen to collaborate with Ethiopia in mining, renewable energy sectors

Addis Ababa, November 28, 2023 (FBC) – State Minister for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Mesganu Arga met and held talks with the World Special Representative of the Austrian Chancellor, Peter Launsky-Tieffenthal at his office today.

The discussion focused on bilateral ties, economic opportunities and regional developments of mutual importance.

Ambassador Mesganu said the Austrian Embassy in Addis Ababa plays a catalyzing role in sustaining the symbolic bilateral relation of the two countries.

Peter Launsky-Tieffenthal, for his part, expressed Austria’s long-term commitment to its relations with Ethiopia and shared his keenness to cooperate in areas such as Mining, Renewable Energy and Agriculture; animal husbandry and poultry.
