Association announces public rally in Washington DC

Addis Ababa, October 19, 2022 (FBC) – Association for Peace and Unity in Ethiopia announced that a peaceful demonstration against the pressure and undue interference of the West, including the United States, on Ethiopia will be held in Washington DC this coming Sunday.

The Washington Task Force for Peace and Unity in Ethiopia confirmed that during the peaceful demonstration, messages against the soft stance on the terrorist TPLF by the Biden administration, other Western powers, and certain international institutions, and the pressure they are putting on Ethiopia will be conveyed, says a report by ENA.

The Task Force said that Ethiopians, American-Ethiopians and friends of Ethiopia will take part in the rally and express their solidarity and support for the defensive measures the government is taking to establish peace in the northern part of Ethiopia.

It is also indicated that on November 13, 2022, a fundraising event will be held in Washington, DC, to support war victims.
