Artist Tariku Berhanu’s body laid to rest in Addis Ababa Holy Trinity Cathedral

Addis Ababa, December 12, 2022 (FBC) – The most popular domestic movies actor Tariku Berhanu’s body laid to rest at the Holy Trinity Cathedral, Addis Ababa.

The young movie actor Tarku Berhanu sadly passed away yesterday due to an illness at the age of 38.

Hence, the funeral was held today at the Holy Trinity Cathedral, where the artist’s family, friends and fans were present.

Artist Tariku Berhanu (Baba) has played a lead role in more than 40 Ethiopian movies.

The artist has starred in Laundry Boy, 300 Thousand, Love and Facebook, The Engineers, Hiwote, Kekal Belay (Beyond Words), Hiwot ena Sak (Life and Laughter), Hagersh Hagere (Your Country – My Country), Eyorika, Kebad Mizan (Heavy Weight), Woffe Komech, Bekum Kafekershign (If You Really Love Me), Ende-Keld, Erk Yihun, Mognu Ye-Arada Lij IV, Abat Hager and Wotat be-97 Ethiopian movies.

Artist Tariku was married to Artist Kalkidan Tibebu and was the father of a 4-year old boy.
