Anti-peace Elements Working to Keep State in Conflict: President
Addis Ababa, October 19, 2021 (FBC) – President of Benishangul Gumuz State, Ashadli Hassen, calls on public collaboration to maintain the peace and tranquility of the region.
The request came when the president graduated militias who finalized their basic military training in Buldglu District.
He points out that TPLF sponsored armed groups have been destabilizing the region for long.
Regional security forces are now working hand in glove with federal defence forces to free Metekel and Kamashi zones of anti-peace elements, he adds.
Since peace cannot be maintained without public support, the president calls on the people of the region to stand by security forces in fighting parties working to always present the region with conflicts.
