An Eritrean company purchases $8,000 GERD bond in Juba, South Sudan

Addis Ababa, October 20, 2021 (FBC) – EZRA Construction and Development Group Plc, a company operationg in Juba, South Sudan under ownership of Eritrean businessmen has purchased bonds worth 8,000 USD in support of the construction of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissace Dam (GERD).

Ethiopians working in Juba Electricity Distribution Company (JEDCO) have also bought bonds worth 2,000 USD as a total amount of coupons purchased in a fundraising event took place in Juba reached 10,000 USD.

Ethiopian Ambassador to South Sudan, Nebil Mahdi, while handing over the bonds to company representatives, expressed gratitude to contributors on behalf of the Ethiopian government.
