Addis Ababa, January 15, 2020 (FBC) – Prime Minister Dr Abiy Ahmed said the role of women and mothers is crucial to achieve Ethiopia’s prosperity.
Speaking at a women’s forum held today in Addis Ababa at the Millennium Hall, the Prime Minister further called upon them to teach about peace and unity.
He also urged political parties to enhance their social engagements, instead of wasting their time by blaming others.
The development activities commenced in the capital Addis Ababa will be extended to other urban areas, the Prime Minister indicated.
Prosperity Party (PP) was established to avoid division and eliminate poverty, he said noted.
More than 20,000 women, including senior government officials, attended the forum.
