Addis Ababa, October 22, 2023 (FBC) – A team of officials and experts from the World Health Organization (WHO) headquarters and the WHO Africa Regional Office are in Addis Ababa to observe the nationwide rehabilitation undertakings in Ethiopia.
The delegates visit aims to learn about the rehabilitation activities and strengthen the rehabilitation program in conflict-affected regions in the country, according to the Ministry of Health (MoH).
The WHO delegation is expected to hold discussions with various government sectors such as the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Women and Social Affairs, the National Rehabilitation Commission and other relevant bodies.
It is said that this will create an important opportunity for Ethiopia to ameliorate its rehabilitation services.
Following the meetings and discussions with relevant stakeholders and partners, a joint implementation plan will be prepared in order to improve the cooperation approach, it is learned.
