Addis Ababa, August 29, 2022 (FBC) – The Water and Energy Ministry of Ethiopia and the Korea Water Resources Corporation (K-Water) have signed MoU for water development cooperation in Seoul.
During the signing ceremony, the President of K-Water, Park Jay said that the relations between Ethiopia and Korea is not limited to only development cooperation, for their historical ties is cemented by blood.
The President affirmed commitment of K-Water to work in collaboration with the Ministry of Water and Energy in the water resources development sector.
The Water and Energy Minister Habtamu Itefa (PhD) who signed the MoU on behalf of Ethiopia, for his part, highlighted the significance of the cooperation in heightening the ties between the two nations in the sector. Park Jay is expected to visit Ethiopia in upcoming October.
