Addis Ababa, October 11, 2022 (FBC) – The House of Federation has approved the proposed budget for the 2015 Ethiopian Fiscal Year.
During its 2nd year 1st regular session, the Upper House discussed the proposed budget submitted to it by the Standing Committee on Subsidy and Joint Revenues Appropriation, and approved it accordingly.
Chairperson of the Standing Committee, Shemelis Abdisa responded to queries raised by the members concerning the budget appropriation process.
A proposed Population and Housing Census has been cited as a preferable mechanism to readjust budget appropriation issues based on recommendations forwarded by the members.
