Addis Ababa, August 31, 2021 (FBC) – The United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) has delivered humanitarian aid worth 30 Million Birr to IDPs in Debark town, Amhara reigon.
UNICEF Ethiopia Representative Adele Khodr today visited IDPs in Debark Town in Amhara Regional which is home to 41,000 displaced people.
During her visit, the representative handed over much-needed supplies including, mattresses, high energy biscuits and water, sanitation and hygiene supplies to the IDPs.
She also held meeting with President of Amhara Regional State, Agegnehu Teshager and Zonal Administration officials in North Gondar to better understand situation and needs of children and their mothers.
