Addis Ababa, April 9, 2021 (FBC) – The Ukrain-Ethiopia Digital Business Forum was held in attendance of representatives of more than 27 Ukrainian companies and members of the diplomatic communities from the two nations.
The forum, held on was attended by more than 27 Ukrainian companies including Sviatoslav Yurash, Head of Deputies’ group on inter-parliamentary relations with Ethiopia, Oleksandr Bosak, Chargé d’Affaires of Ukraine in Ethiopia, Kateryna Reznikova, Consul of Ukraine for the Republic of Djibouti, Daria Zabolotnya, Secretary General of International Chamber of Commerce of Ukraine (ICC) and representatives from Ethiopian Chamber of Commerce.
Ambassador Mulu Solomon, Ethiopia’s non-resident ambassador to Ukraine based in Berlin, Germany, delivered remarks at the Ethiopia – Ukraine Busines Forum organized by the Ukraine–Ethiopia inter-parliamentary group and the Embassy of Ukraine in Ethiopia.
The Ambassador highlighted Ethiopia’s untapped potential in the export of coffee, flowers, pulses, oil seeds, as well as leather and Leather products to Ukraine.
13 Ukrainian companies working in the Agriculture and Agro-processing, Pharmaceutical, transport and logistics sectors presented their products.
Diplomatic relation between Ethiopia and Ukraine began in 1905 and the trade volume between the two countries has been steadily increasing with room for further improvement.
