Addis Ababa, October 12, 2024 (FBC) – The Central African Republic (CAR) has the potential to become a valuable trading partner for the East African Community, Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni stated during Uganda’s 62nd independence anniversary celebrations.
He announced a joint agreement with the CAR to encourage the Democratic Republic of the Congo and South Sudan to build roads connecting the CAR to Uganda.
Ugandan president directed Uganda Airlines to explore the possibility of establishing flights to the CAR to further strengthen the connection between the two countries.
Faustin Archange Touadéra, the President of the Central African Republic, expressed admiration for Uganda’s development, calling it an inspiration for his country, according to Sputnik Africa.
