Two manufacturing companies enter Addis Ababa Industry Village, Jimma Industrial Park

Addis Ababa, July 5, 2022 (FBC) – Industrial Parks Development Corporation (IPDC) of Ethiopia has signed agreement with two manufacturing companies; Parker Clay Ethiopia and Akshay Jain that have finalized preparations to embark on production in Addis Ababa Industrial Village and Jimma Industrial park respectively.

Deputy CEO of IPDC, Shiferaw Solomon representing the government and Kibreab Abera and Akshay Jian on behalf of their respective firms have signed the agreement.

According to the agreement Parker Clay Ethiopia will invest some 30 million birr for its leather products manufacturing at Addis Ababa Industrial Village while Akshay Jian will invest more than 800 million birr in avocado oil and biogas production at Jimma Industrial Park.

According to IPDC, the two companies will create hundreds of job opportunities besides supporting the flourishing investment climate in the country.
