Addis Ababa, May 11, 2021 (FBC) – The newly appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Interim Administration of Tigray, Dr. Abrham Belay called for collective efforts of all stakeholders including government, community and partners to ensure sustainable peace and order in the region.
The Chief Executive stressed need to sustainable cooperation among peoples, development partners and and all concerned stakeholders to realize peaceful and stable living and working atmosphere in the regional state.
Causalities caused by the conflict instigated by TPLF and the subsequent law enforcement measures posed uncertainty and and psychological disorder among the people of the region, Dr. Abrham said, expressing need to justice that can mend the negative consequence resulted from the unrest.
He expressed optimism that the federal government, administrations of neighboring regions, members of the Diaspora community, the general public and the international community at large will contribute support to the rehabilitation and rebuilding efforts in Tigray.
Forgiveness, cooperation and sympathy is much needed to address the dire situation in the region, Dr. Abrham underlined.
Furthermore, he called up on peoples of neighboring regions, Eritrea, investors, civic societies, professional associations, religious leaders, elders, academics and community elders to contribute their share in ensuring sustainable peace, stability and order and rehabilitating affected people and rebuilding infrastructures in the region.
