Addis Ababa, August 16, 2021 (FBC) – The ultramodern Meskel Squre which has been constructed underneath the Meskel Square Beautification Project has gone operation as of Monday.
It is to be recalled that the Meskel Square Public Project that had been undertaken at a cost of over 2.5 Billion Birr was inaugurated in last June in the presence of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and a number of senior officials.
The Meskel Square Ultramodern Parking is said to have a capacity of accommodating 1,400 vehicles at a time with 24/7 service.
Meskel Square hosts religious festival and public events including exhibitions and music concerts, according to the information from the Exhibition Center and Market Development Enterprise.
