Addis Ababa, September 8, 2024 (FBC) – The name Ethiopia has long been associated with honor, excellence, and freedom, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed stated.
The Prime Minister made this remark on the occasion of “Sovereignty Day” which is being marked throughout the country with various events.
“Throughout its history, Ethiopia has maintained its sovereignty and never invaded another country. However, it has always defended itself against those who threatened its sovereignty,” he emphasized.
“…And this will continue to be upheld by the united efforts of its people,” PM Abiy noted in a post on social media platform X.
