Addis Ababa, November 10, 2021 (FBC) – The Terrorist TPLF soldiers kidnapped the Archbishop of Wag Hemra and Canada Archdioceses His Grace Abune Bernanas in Sekota town, Amhara Region.
Association of Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahdo Church Priests in North America stated that Abune Bernabas was snatched by the terrorist armed men from the Seat of Wag Hemra Archdiocese located at Sekota town.
His Grace Archbishop Bernabas was coordinating humanitarian support to people affected by the terrorist TPLF in Wag Hemra Administration Zone of Amhara Regional State. The Association added that the TPLF force tortured the Archbishop brutally.
His Grace Abune Bernabas a venerated religious father who spends whole his life in prayers, fasting, humanitarian activities and teaching the Gospel to the faithful.
