Addis Ababa, October 6, 2021 (FBC) – Addis Ababa Revenue Bureau says it has collected 10.4 billion Birr in tax just in two months, since the Ethiopian fiscal year started in July.
The bureau thus declares that the tax revenue performance stands now at 120% of its plan, noting that its quarterly plan has been set to raise 11 billion Birr; a month’s revenue now remains unaccounted.
The revenue has been generated from Category “A”, Category “B”, and Category “C” taxpayers.
The Bureau has urged taxpayers to continue paying their taxes on time so as to greatly contribute for the development of their city. That is according to the information sourced from the Bureau.
