Addis Ababa, March 26, 2024 (FBC) – A delegation from the Tanzanian Defense Command and Staff College conducted a visit to the Defense Command and Staff College in Ethiopia, as announced by the Ministry of Defense of Ethiopia today.
Terefe Churiso, the Deputy Commander of the Defense Command and Staff College and Colonel responsible for Education and Training, emphasized that the visit by the Tanzanian delegation is poised to enhance the military cooperation between the two amicable nations. He affirmed that both parties engaged in the exchange of diverse experiences during the visit.
Furthermore, he elaborated that the college is dedicated to training senior military leaders from Ethiopia and neighboring countries, offering a spectrum of programs ranging from short courses to master’s degrees.
Colonel Jafar Ramadan Aristide, the leader of the Tanzanian delegation, expressed his satisfaction with the warm reception he received and his astonishment at the impressive work being carried out at the college.
The Tanzanian delegates further engaged in discussions with the college on various topics aimed at fostering collaboration between the two entities.
Comprising military officers from 12 different countries and leaders from the Tanzanian defense command college staff, the delegation represents a diverse and multinational group.
