Addis Ababa, September 30, 2021 ( FBC) – Supplementary elections held in Harari, Somali and Southern Nations Nationalities and Peoples (SNNP) regional states where thousands of voters casted their ballots since early morning on Thursday.
All the necessary electoral materials such as ballot papers, ballot boxes and seals, official NEBE stamps, indelible ink and Reconciliation and Result Forms were available at all polling stations.
The National Electoral Board of Ethiopia (NEBE) stated that the elections have been held peacefully and successfully without any problems except some complaints raised by political parts. Complaints have been addressed immediately, according to NEBE.
Referendum has also been held in SNNP for the structuring of South Western Ethiopia region.
It is to be recalled that the June election had not been held in several pollin stations of the three regions due to various reasons.
