Addis Ababa, October 17, 2022 (FBC) – The President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council of Sudan, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, sent a cable of thanks and appreciation to the Prime Minister of Ethiopia, Abiy Ahmed, in which he thanked him for the warm reception and the hospitality he received, during His participation in the Tana Forum on Security in Africa.
Al-Burhan has confirmed that the official and popular reception he received reflects the depth of the neighborhood ties, and the authenticity and nobility of the brotherly Ethiopian people, indicating that the Sudanese and Ethiopian peoples have a historical relationship, expressing hope that bilateral relations will witness more development and growth, according to Sudan News Agency.
Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and Sudan TSC President Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan discussed bilateral and regional issues of mutual concern. Al-Burhan also visited several development projects in Bahir Dar Ctiy where the 10th Tana High Level Forum on Security in Africa was held from October 14-16.
