South Korea provides $30m worth medical equipment to Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, April 2, 2021 (FBC) – South Korea has provided $30 million worth of medical equipment to Ethiopia.

The medical equipment, which were procured with concessional loan bilateral agreement through Korea Exim Bank, include mechanical ventilators, ICU beds and PCR machines.

Minister of Health, Dr. Lia Tadesse , received  the equipment in a ceremony held at the Ethiopian Pharmaceutical Agency.

In a tweet, the Minister extended her gratitude to the Korean Government for its support.

“I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to Government of Korea for its unreserved and continued support in our efforts to fight the pandemic,” she said.
