Addis Ababa, March 6, 2024 (FBC) – Seventeen Ethiopian youth delegates are participating in the World Youth Festival which is taking place in Sochi, Russia.
The participation of the youth delegates has been coordinated by Women and Social Affairs Ministry and the Council of Ethiopian Youths.
State Minister for Youths, Muna Ahmed, stated that the festival has provided the Ethiopian delegates to forge friendship with youths from various countries and garner diversified experiences.
The State Minister added that youths are using the festival to engage with peer participants from many countries in sphere of culture, history, art, among others.
The youths leveraged the festival to promote Ethiopian Coffee to participants from all corners of the world.
The festival said to be a perfect platform for global friendship, for reimagining what is new, what is possible, and of course, carving newer pathways and newer friendships for everyone.
The weeklong event is bringing together around 20,000 young leaders from over 180 countries in fields like business, media, culture, science, education, volunteer work, and sports.
