Addis Ababa, April 28, 2021 (FBC) – Qatar’s number one biscuit factory has shown interest to invest in Ethiopia.
Ethiopian Embassy in Doha, Qatar in collaboration with key government bodies briefed management of Al Mondial Factory for Industrial Food on investment opportunities in Ethiopia.
Officials and experts from the Ethiopian Investment Commission, Chamber of Commerce, Industrial Park Development Corporation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy took part in the session.
The officials and experts illuminated the conducive investment environment, the competitive incentive packages, the available infrastructure, and the big market access in the sector.
They also encouraged the Factory to invest in Ethiopia underlining the fact that the fast-growing economy, the development of many industrial zones, and availability of productive workforce make the country an ideal choice.
The chairman and owner of Al Mondial Factory Mahdi Al Dosari and experts, on their part, highlighted the priorities of the company and posed questions for further clarification.
Ambassador Samia Zekaria further stressed that Ethiopia is a typical place for Al Mondial Factory to invest and invited the latter to make a business trip.
The Factory management, to its part, has shown great interest to do business in Ethiopia and pay a visit shortly.
