MOSCOW, June 4 (Sputnik) – Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet with BRICS’s New Development Bank President, Dilma Rousseff, on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) on June 6, Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov said on Tuesday.
“A plenary session is scheduled for June 6, and our president is scheduled to have a conversation with the president of the New Development Bank, former Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff, at the National Congress Palace. Our President worked constructively with her when she was president of Brazil,” Ushakov told a briefing ahead of SPIEF.
The meeting will be devoted to the bank’s participation in financing of projects, including in Russia, the official adde.
“We have questions about the activities of this bank, in the formation of which we were directly involved. These issues will be discussed,” Ushakov said.
