Addis Ababa, December 5, 2022 (FBC) -President Sahle Work Zewde received Dr. Rita Bissoonauth, the newly appointed Director, UNESCO Liaison Office to AUC and UNECA, and UNESCO country representative to Ethiopia.
The representative briefed the President on UNESCO’s 2022 to 2029 new operational strategy for Africa. They also exchanged views on the President’s report on the Futures of Education.
It is to be recalled that the President chaired UNESCO’s International Commission on the Futures of Education for over two years.
