Addis Ababa, January 12, 2023 (FBC) – The President of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Sahle-Work Zewde, held in-depth discussion today with the foreign ministers of France and Germany.
Ms. Catherine Collonna, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the French Republic and Ms. Annalena Baerbock, Federal Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany have arrived in Addis Ababa on Thursday morning for an official working visit.
Thus, in their thorough discussion with President Sahle-Work Zewde, the two European diplomats advised on the issues that can further strengthen the long-standing comprehensive relationship of Ethiopia with German and France.
ENA’s report indicates that the two foreign ministers confirmed that their respective countries will support the reconstruction activities of conflict-affected areas following the peace agreement reached between the federal government and TPLF.
It was also stated in the discussion that rehabilitation and assistance operations should also focus on women.
