Addis Ababa, June 23, 2022 (FBC) – The Indian Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Jaishankara Subrahmanyam paid a courtesy call to President Sahle-Work Zewde on Wednesday.
During the discussion, both sides expressed their satisfaction for the excellent relations and affirmed their readiness to further strengthen the deep rooted ties between Ethiopia and India.
The President commended India for its principled and constructive position at the UN Security Council particularly on issues related to Ethiopia. India is a member of the council until the end of 2022.
