Addis Ababa, December 11, 2019 (FBC) – President Sahle-Work Zewde received and held discussion with a delegation from Saudi Arabia, who is exploring investment opportunities in Ethiopia.
The high level Saudi delegation, composed of business persons, arrived in Addis Ababa for a three-day visit last Sunday.
Yesterday, the delegation led by Minister of State for African Affairs Ahmed bin Abdul Aziz Qattan, attended the Ethio-Saudi business forum held at the Sheraton Addis.
The forum which aims to attract foreign direct investment (FDI) and promote business networking was attended by high level officials from both nations as well as more than 150 business persons.
The two countries also held a bilateral dialogue in the presence of various Government bodies and institutions.
During the discussion held at the National Palace, the President expressed her commitment to support their endeavor in any way that she can.
President Sahle-Work also stressed the importance of strengthening the longstanding ties between the two nations, according to office of the President.
