Addis Ababa, September 10, 2023 (FBC) – President Sahle-Work highlighted the paramount importance of sharing knowledge and experience among generations to maintain well-being of the nation.
‘Generation Day’ has been celebrated at Addis Ababa University with various events in participation of youths drawn from all corners of the country.
Addressing the event, President Sahle-Work said that members of the current generation should ask themselves about what they are able to bequeath to the coming generations.
She stressed the need to arrange a platform where young people can exchange their views on how to contribute to the overall activities in the country.
The President called on the youth to maintain honesty loyalty and hard work and pass it to the next generation.
She emphasized that generational differences should not be resolved by war, calling for enhanced culture of dialogue to address challenges.
