Addis Ababa, April 13, 2021 (FBC) -President Sahle-Work Zewde chaired a meeting of the International Commission on the Futures of Education.
The Commission, comprised of renowned experts from all over the world, is working on a report that will serve as a guide for policy makers, educators and learners on what modern and inclusive education should look like in the future.
In the meeting, members of the Commission discussed the various updates in the work of producing their final report.
The members also discussed the feedback from a series of public consultations which will enrich their report.
The final report will be presented in November 2021 at the UNESCO General Conference.
The Commission was formed on the margins of the 2019 United Nations General Assembly.
