Addis Ababa, July 2, 2023 (FBC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has launched the “Education for Generations” national campaign, which is designed to improve the infrastructure of schools with the participation of all citizens and institutions.
After launching the national campaign, the Prime Minister said: “The schools all Ethiopians have studied in need the support of their alumni.”
“To show tangible support towards this end, we have launched the “Education for Generations” national campaign today enabling us all to contribute ideas, resources and energy in revitalizing our school systems,” he stated.
As a result, the Premier has called on all Ethiopians to join hands together to build better schools in order to build a better Ethiopia.
According to the Office of the Prime Minister, the campaign aims to enable Ethiopians and foreign nationals of Ethiopian origin in the country and abroad to contribute to the fulfillment of adequate school infrastructure in their place of birth, where they studied prior or where they work.
