Addis Ababa, August 1, 2024 (FBC) – It’s important to understand the Macro-Economic Reform Program Policy holistically rather than in isolation, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed said today while briefing various stakeholders on Macro-Economic Reform Program Policy.
“We have thoroughly evaluated what needs to be done to bring about development in Medemer. Our approach is pro-poor and focused on supporting the most vulnerable. However, the success of these reforms depends on all stakeholders collaboratively increasing productivity, exports, and revenue,” he noted on his social media page after briefing various stakeholders on the latest reforms.
The premier confirmed that law enforcement agencies are mandated to take action against malicious traders who artificially manipulate prices.
Recall that Ethiopia has embarked on a comprehensive macroeconomic reform policy implementation since July 28, 2024.
