Addis Ababa, September 25, 2020 (FBC) – Central Gondar Zone Police has seized 46 quintals of cannabis being delivered by a truck in to Humera town.
The consignment was picked up from Shashemene town and supposed to cross borders via Humera, according to police.
Transporters of the cannabis were trying to avoid a check point and averting direction while being caught red handed by security forces of the area, police indicated.
The cannabis was concealed in 20 quintals of corn and 18 quintals of cattle foder on the truck, police said.
Police has arrested three people including the driver and his aide in connection with the drug trafficking it intercepted.
