Addis Ababa, October 7, 2021 (FBC) – Police on Monday seized weapons that were kept illegally in a private dwelling in Addis Ababa, in a place called kebele 32 of Wereda 7 in Addis Ketema Sub-city.
These include three handguns, explosive devices, and various types of bullets including that of AK-47.
They also got illegal documents and local currency kept in that same house.
Prior to searching the house, the police are said to have taken a court permit. Police said nothing about the identities of the person who kept these illegal arms and documents.
The Addis Ababa police have expressed gratitude to residents for collaborating with security bodies in the efforts made to effectively prevent potential crimes that may appear in the capital.
