Addis Ababa, March 8, 2021 (FBC) –Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed this morning visited the progress of a bridge being built on the Abay River in the city of Bahir Dar, Amhara regional state.
During the visit, it was noted that efforts would be made to finalize as planned the project which currently stands at 25%.
The construction 380-meter-long and 43-meter-wide bridge was launched in August 2019.
Upon completion within a year, the bridge will facilitate export trader by providing an alternate and modern transport route.
