Addis Ababa, April 6, 2020 (FBC) –Prime Minister Dr Abiy Ahmed has held a meeting with members of law enforcement and security sub-committee.
During the discussion, they reviewed the activities of the committee, including preparations for any eventualities.
The Prime Minister was pleased that “our National Armed Forces have made good progress in preparing for worst case scenarios related to COVID19.”
Ethiopia currently has 44 confirmed cases, with two deaths and four recoveries.
According to the latest figures from Johns Hopkins University, more than 1.2 million cases of coronavirus have been registered globally.
More than 70,000 people have died and more than 270,000 have recovered, according to the university’s figures.
