Addis Ababa, July 5, 2024 (FBC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) has lauded Arba-Minch and its surroundings tourism potential as a sought-after destination with multiple natural endowments.
The Prime Minister stated this on his social media page this evening after his visit to Arba-Minch, Gamo Zone of South Ethiopia region, this afternoon together with various high-level federal and regional officials.
“ArbaMinch is a sought-after destination endowed with various types of fruits, bird life, mountains, and fresh water bodies, offering astounding potential,” he noted.
Despite bringing great hope, it also evokes regret in that we have done little work to develop it fully until now, the premier asserted.
PM Abiy added that the ‘Dine for Generations’ project includes a timeshare component for Ethiopians, both locally and in the diaspora, to invest in and indulge in this paradise.
The Prime Minister and his delegation plated tree seedlings around Arba-Minch city, continuing this year’s tree seedlings planting cycle.
