PM Abiy holds bilateral talks with various African leaders on sidelines of COP27

Addis Ababa, November 7, 2022 (FBC) – The FDRE Prime Minister, Abiy Ahmed holds bilateral talks with various African leaders on sidelines of the 27th Conference of the Parties for the United Nations Conference for Climate Change, in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt.

Prime Minister Abiy and his delegation arrived in Egypt on Sunday to participate in the 27th edition of the UNFCCC COP 27.

UN’s 27th Climate Change Conference kicked of on Sunday, where leaders of the world gather to discuss the implication of climate change.

On the sidelines of the conference, PM Abiy held several bilateral discussions with fellow African leaders.

“We met with fellow leaders of African nations on the sidelines of COP27 to discuss bilateral and regional issues”, he stated via his social media platforms.

“We will continue to work in solidarity to find African solutions to Africa’s problems and strive for a more resilient continent”, he added.
