Addis Ababa, February 21, 2021 (FBC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has today described Koysha area particularly Hallala Kella site as a captivating place with dynamic history and culture.
“I was fortunate to have visited Koysha for the first time last year where I witnessed its immense untapped potential. Following a year of extensive studies and fundraising to develop the area, I am quite pleased to be back in the area on the fortnight of ‘Dine For Ethiopia’ to launch the Halala Kela cluster of the project in Dawuro Zone.”, the premier wrote on facebook.
The premier has arrived in Dawro Zone, Southern Nations Nationalities and Peoples Region to launch the first phase construction of Koysha national project.
Addressing the gatherings up on his arrival, Prime Minister Abiy said attraction sites like Koysha are captivating sites that nature has beswoed up on Ethiopia calling for action to develop such natural resources for national benefit.
Development activities in attraction sites in Dawro zone should be carried out in a way that is fitted to the historical values they possess, he noted.
Preparations have been properly carried out to develop natural resources of Dawro Zone under several clusters, the premier added.
Prime Minister Abiy expressed optimism that the project will be completed within a year calling regional government officials and other stakeholders to follow up the progress thereby contribute to effective completion of the initiative.
