Addis Ababa, November 4, 2022 (FBC) – The FDRE Prime Minister, Abiy Ahmed, attended a discussion on the recently concluded AU-led peace process, results and implications.
FBC understands that Speakers of the two Houses, Heads of regional states and Ministers were also present at the discussion.
According to Redwan Hussein, Minister for National Security Advisor to the Prime Minister, during the discussion, a general explanation was made regarding the Pretoria agreement.
He said the peace agreement safeguarded the constitutional system and respected Ethiopia’s sovereignty.
Redwan stated that the peace agreement will compensate the lost time and enable to focus on rebuilding the damaged areas.
He emphasized that as Ethiopia and its citizens are devastated by the war, the benefit of the peace agreement is every Ethiopian citizen’s gain, EBC reported.
Redwan called on all Ethiopians to play their part for the implementation of the agreement to be successful.
