Addis Ababa, January 25, 2022 (FBC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has visited Kabribayah which is one of many host communities in the Somali Regional State supporting drought affected displaced persons.
“In the interim, we will scale up the provision of water trucks, food, animal feed and essential medicines, while we accelerate the small dams projects we have embarked upon to support water management in lowland areas, as a pathway to circumventing future droughts,” the Prime Minister said.
PM Abiy Ahmed together with a high-level delegation has arrived in the capital of the Somali Regional State this morning to visit drought affected areas and received by the regional President Mustefe Omer.
