Addis Ababa, October 22, 2024 (FBC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) and First Lady Zinash Tayachew accompanied by a ministerial delegation arrival in Kazan, Russia ahead of the BRICS Summit.
The Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and his delegation were accorded warm welcome by the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, up on their arrival at the airport.
The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia officially joined BRICS on January 1, 2024.
The Kazan summit will be the first to be attended by new members of the association. Representatives of over 30 countries are expected to attend.
