Addis Ababa, September 20, 2022 (FBC) – A forum for strengthening people-to-people ties dialogue between the people of Ethiopia and Sudan has kicked off.
The event of future fraternity, organized by Ethiopia in various embassies – based in Addis Ababa – aimed at strengthening the unity of the future African generation, has kicked off at the Sudan Embassy in Addis Ababa.
At the event, the Director General of African Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Fisseha Shawul, said the event aims to further strengthening the economic and political ties between African countries.
He said that the discussion will contribute to cement the long-standing relationship between Ethiopia and Sudan in a sustainable manner by sharing common values regardless of the problems that arise from minor constraints.
Jemal Ashar Ahmed, Ambassador of the Sudanese Embassy in Ethiopia, on his part, stated that strengthening the existing relationship should be prioritized and emphasis should be given to foster further friendship and bond between the peoples of the two countries.
Sudanese community members, famous people, diplomats, ex-ambassadors and invited guests of honor were present at the ceremony, as per the Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson’s office.
