Addis Ababa, December 3, 2020 (FBC) –Ethiopian Ambassador to France, Henok Teferra, said people in Tigray regional state have started going back to normal life.
In an interview with France24, he said “the TPLF forces have been completely routed and they are not there on the ground. We controlled the whole Tigray.”
“This operation has been completed successfully. We are now on the second phase working for the rehabilitation of the people of Tigray,” he indicated.
The ambassador said Tigray is liberated from the tentacles of the TPLF junta and will be able to benefit from the democratization process in the country.
Ambassador Henok added that the government and different parties are working to ensure that there is civil peace and normal activity goes on in the regional state.
He said the TPLF junta which perpetrated the crime against the national defence forces will be brought in front of the court of law and answer for their crimes.
The ambassador further said people in Tigray regional state are being provided with humanitarian assistance.
