Addis Ababa, April 29, 2024 (FBC) – Ambassador of Ethiopia to Pakistan, Jemal Beker, held discussions with representatives of chambers of trade and industry and company representatives of various cities.
Ambassador Jemal presided over an Ethiopia-Pakistan Business Forum in Sialkot City where he had discussions with business people and industrialists that have shown interest to explore investment opportunities in Ethiopia.
The Ambassador briefed the Pakistani business communities on the trade and investment opportunities in Ethiopia, assuring them of government’s commitment to provide them with all the necessary support.
Likewise, the Ambassador conferred with Sundar Trade and Industry Association on incentives the government put in place to encourage foreign companies interested to tap trade and investment potentials in Ethiopia.
According to the Ambassador, the Pakistani business people have confirmed their participation in the 2nd pre-investment trip a Pakistani business delegation is going to pay to Ethiopia from 26 – 31 May 2024.
The Ambassador and the Pakistani business community representatives have plated tree saplings at the Sundar Industrial Estate under Ethio-Pakistan fraternity for Green Legacy Initiative.
