Addis Ababa, June 8, 2024 (FBC) – The Ethiopian Agricultural Businesses Corporation has announced that 14.6 million quintals of the 19.9 million quintals of soil fertilizer purchased from abroad for the 2024 growing season has been unloaded at ports
It is stated that 13 million 676 thousand 326 quintals of the fertilizer unloaded at the Djibouti and Lamu port was transported to the country until June 8, 2024, and is currently being distributed to farmers through unions.
On the other hand, it has been indicated that two ships loaded with 1 million 228 thousand quintals of additional fertilizer will arrive at Djibouti port on June 18, 2024.
