New Ambassadors receiving training on Ethiopia’s Logistics system

Addis Ababa, June 23, 2020 (FBC) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia has started to give training to newly appointed ambassadors about the basics of Ethiopia’s Logistics system.

Mekonnen Abera, Director-General of Ethiopian Maritime Affairs Authority (EMMA) is offering the training covering topics, such as, the National Logistics System, the Logistics Policy, and the Blue Economy.

Similar training will be offered by representatives of the Ethiopian Immigration and Nationality Affairs, and Ethiopian Airlines about the basic services of the institutions that the ambassadors are expected to be aware of.

In her opening remarks, State Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affaris, Birtukan Ayano said acquiring sufficient knowledge regarding the basic services offered by Ethiopian institutions is an important ingredient in safeguarding the national interest of the country.
